In Pakistan Christians are considered as minorities have total population of 2.5 million which is almost 1.6% of the Pakistani Population. In the city Rawalpindi and Islamabad 32,738 Christians are living their lives with full freedom to practice their believes, and have equal rights in all departments without any religious discrimination.
To practices their believes, Christ Church is situated in the city of Rawalpindi Pakistan. This gothic style building was built in 1852 and considered among the oldest building in Rawalpindi. The church is situated in Lalkurti on Iftikhar Janjua Road beside PC Hotel, and cover the whole area of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, as it is the only church in the city of Rawalpindi.
To give protection to minorities Punjab Home Department issued orders to the District Administration and Police to reinforce the security of Christian population and the Churches in the city to avoid unpleasant incident in Rawalpindi. So that minorities can enjoy their festival, and the church in Rawalpindi remain protected.
Christ as presented in the New Testament. This religion is considered as world's largest religion, with approximately 2.2 billion followers, known as Christians. Most Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
