Ayub National Park Place of Water Lillies

Rawalpindi is the central point of Potowar Plateau and one of the largest cities of Pakistan endowed with
ancient culture, modern traditions, respected norms and a variety of pleasure places. One of which is Ayub National Park commonly known as Ayub Park or historically as Topi Rakh Park. It was named after General Ayub Khan (the first martial law administrator of Pakistan). It is located beyond the Old Presidency on G.T Road (GrandTrunk).
This park was established before the creation of Pakistan. It covers an area of 2300 acres and has wide play land area, Lake with boating facilities, appealing gardens, an aquarium, restaurants with variety of appetisers and healthy open air environment.
It is one of the biggest park in Pakistan at present with lots and lots of pleasant greenery. It provides you with tracking paths and exercising areas for betterment of health.
Ayub Park is famous for Water Lilies that blossom throughout the year. The park hosts The Jungle Kingdom that is particularly popular among young. The entry ticket is just few cents.
