Ayubia

Ayubia is one of the most beautiful places of Pakistan.Ayubia is small town in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan. It is located near the Murree hills. Ayubia is a complex of four small hill stations :i) Ghora Daka; ii)Khanspur; iii)Changla Gali and Khairagali. These four resorts scattered over an area of about 16 miles / 26 kms are now being developed as a modern hill resort complex . when fully developed, Ayubia will provide modern comfort and conveniences including hotels, restaurants and facilities for summer and winter sports. Ayubia has become the most important spot in the Galliat after Nathiagali. Ayubia's fame is three kilometer long Chairlift.The chairlift takes one to Gora Dhaka or horse mountain which is one of the highest point in the area. At the Gora Dhaka a beautiful Park and restaurant is built which give panoramic view all around. There are a number of hotels and restaurants at Ayubia. Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) runs a motel at a picturesque place at Ayubia.The PTDC Motel is located near the famous Ayubia Chairlift. Surrounded by magnificent green hills, meadows and forests of Pine, the Motel overlooks the picturesque Khanspur Valley. PTDC Motel Ayubia's comfortable rooms and fine restaurant make it an ideal resting place. Ayubia National Park is one of the best representative areas of Himalayan Moist Temperate Forest, a sub-category of Mountain Forests. An ethnobotany initiative is being carried out in this area to demonstrate the sustainable use of plant resources as a means for protecting biodiversity.
