
During the pre-Christian era, clones often used to sacrifice to their Gods in front of specific holy grooves and trees. Usually the trees were oak and ash trees which reflect the correlation between heaven and earth.
Once Martin Luther king, was walking through a forest looking up and was enjoying pleasure seeking sight of twinkling stars. After that he used to put candles on the leaves to symbolize the stars twinkling among the ever green forest’s trees. In 17th century this tradition spread out to towns of Germany, Asian, European parts. It is commonly practised in Pakistan at present and in Rawalpindi where Christian communities are there.

Christmas tree has grown from a simple display of prettiness into an iconic mark of the season.
